How should i make money?

How can I make extra money without getting a second job in high school?

  • I am a current high school senior planning to graduate from high school this year! Woo Hoo! I work 30-32 hours a week currently and am at risk of hours going down when I transfer my job. I make $7.50/hr bagging groceries and pushing carts. so it makes me 150-200 a week. I have to give up 300 monthly for auto insurance by no choice, and still owe another 300 for something else. I need to save money for college. my savings is at 120.00 right now and i know I need alot more. I need more money to save for college since I know it will be expensive. I also have auto insurance, and am convincing my parents i need to drive with it, so they say i need to learn driving again with a profesional to see if i can drive though im licensed. so i mean i have to do taht and pay 300 monthly for insurance. ive thought about asking them to pay at least 70 a month to help me so i can pay 230 but like I said I need ideas. So how can I make extra money? I don't want a second job. I have great computer skills, I can rebuild computers, fix, sell, and even give computer lessons on typing. Anything will help. I would like to save as much money as I can for school

  • Answer:

There are online job sites that hire people with skills such as yours. But be careful as there are scams out there. You can also join GPT or Get Paid To sites to earn extra bucks while doing other online jobs. You earn money by completing online surveys and through referrals.

You could join the Army or Air Nat'l Guard, they offer free college reimbursement to state-funded colleges like Georgia Tech, etc. You could also go active duty military and get the G.I. bill to pay for add'l schooling AND you'll get a nice paycheck in the mean time. Otherwise, you're looking at getting student loans and paying those off after you graduate college. You don't have to have a lot of monthly income because student loans are post-graduation expenses when, hopefully, you'll be gainfully employed. Check on scholarships, etc.

"they say i need to learn driving again with a professional to see if i can drive though im licensed. " are you driving now or not? and if not, why are you paying $300 a month for car insurance?

You should look on websites like http://www.craigslist.com/ to see if there's anyone that could use your services with computers.
