Bad Review Threatened?

Job resume bad review or not list it?

  • I am looking for a new job, and I have been working at a job I hate for since june 11th. i was wondering is it better to have your most recent job on your resume, even though if the new people considering hiring me call them and my manager will give a bad review? hes a total *** that yells at me for things not my fault (people were stuck in traffic, 1 person was sick) (its a payday loan company) and he yells at me because apperently i control the traffic (a train was stuck on teh tracks, and so i know there was traffic, they were not lying and they did come in teh next day) sorry, anyways. so should i list my current and get a bad review or make it look like i was not working for 2 months?

  • Answer:

Employers call the references only after an interview. If you do get interviewed for the new job, explain the situation and tell them you may not get the best review. Although you haven't asked, perhaps you should also try to work with the present boss. He has not threatened to fire you; perhaps he just blows off steam at you because of some other personal issues.
