When should I apply to be a barista at starbucks?

• I was wondering what the best times of the year to apply to be a barista at Starbucks. I hear people say around the beginning of summer or before the holiday seasons (Oct-Nov?) I'm 16, turning 17 soon and I just want/need a job while I'm still at high school (and in college) I also turned my application in around August online, but I dont think that I gave enough information on their online application which is probably why I didn't get a call back. :( But I did go into the store and asked a few baristas if they were hiring and they told me to check online, so I did, again. The online applications take 60 days to expire and mine expires around October. I just wanted to see when I should refill my application and send? As well as some key info I could include to guarantee my acceptance of the job? Thanks!
