What is a career in car sales like?

I need career advice...?

  • I am 29 years old currently living in Taiwan (since april) It's nice out here but it seems my situation will not suit me as I had hoped. I would like to come back to the USA but I am not sure what career to pursue. I was in Auto sales for about 7 years, I did well for myself, but I got frustrated with the processes of car sales so it became increasingly weary for me. I consider myself open minded and an open thinker, I can talk to people and I know how to make people feel comfortable I also know how to direct towards a sale. I feel like sales is a good choice but I don't have a degree that would allow me to get a legit sales position. or would prevent me from getting a position higher up in a company. Can anyone offer there advice on where I should go with my career?

  • Answer:

Use your sales experience to get a job in sales, then while you're working, get a degree from an online college. Maybe your place of employment offers tuition reimbursement. That's something you can ask during the interview.
