What should I say in my follow-up call after an interview?

I just got a call about a job interview but i didnt answer... what do i say when i call back?? HELLPP!?

  • im 16 and this is my first time getting called about scheduling an interview... i didnt answer though because i didnt have my phone with me but he left a message saying if im still interested to call back and schedule... what do i say when i call back?? and what will he ask me or say to me??? im so scared and nervous and btw this job is about 30 minutes away so idk if i should take it cause i dont have a car :S HELLPPP MEEE!!!

    Don't even give an excuse. Just say something like, "Hi this is _____, sorry I missed your call. I'd love to get an interview with you if I can." And if you don't have a car, talk to whoever you live with about the driving situation.

im sure someone can help u out, and if u really want this job just call back or even if you dont still call saying u are uninterested in this job anymore. if your going for it then wsay hi this is ______ im calling because i was left a voice msg saying that if i was interested in this job that i would have to schedule an interview

First, can you get to this job? (reliably??) If not, then no you should not take it. But you just call back and say "Hello, I got the message that you wish to schedule an interview...." and go from there. But as a FYI, if just calling back has you all upset, you had better practice some interview questions & responses so you are calm and collected.
