How long to wait to in inquire about resume status?
-
I hate job searching. Everywhere I sent my resume to seems like a dead end. Many jobs are posted on craigslist, indeed, or monster...the regular job sites. Most companies are 'private', so I have no clue if I am applying to the same job over and over on different sites. How long should I wait before emailing the companies I do know about to see what my status is? Or should I call? This is so frustrating. I've been without a full time job since march...

Answer:
Send in your resume and application and then wait a week or two. After that, give them a call. I wouldn't wait more than about a week and a half though. And have you tried this job site?: http://www.snagajob.com/
