How important are sports on my college resume?

Can someone help me with my resume please?

  • Hey there, I'm attending a media fair in NY this Monday and the worker at school never got back to me on the changes I made to my resume. Feel free to make any comments, positive or negative, since I'm trying to make this as best as possible. It looks a little strange because it didn't convert over well from Microsoft word but I'm putting a link to Google Docs if you'd like to see it more clearly. I also took out my personal info at the top but it will be there when I present my resume. Thanks. https://docs.google.com/document/d/14THnDgZOmUsiA2Ef7cvdj7uUxJv4HY-J7vliUZv0iZA/edit David Objective To obtain an internship or part time position at a local media outlet where I can apply my writing and reporting skills. • Answer:

get rid of the objective part, ppl dont do that anymore. Also make sure you're using the same tense for the things you did at the job. Like the first job, you have "covered" school budget, and the next job you have "pitch", it should be "pitched." These are all jobs you used to have, so make sure you're using the same past tense.
