• What professions are there out there that require training but don't require a college degree that you can learn online and actually get work online? I was thinking of medical transcription which a person is supposed to be able to train for a year and then get working. There's lots of companies which will higher over the internet as well. Anyways I was wondering what other professions are out there that you can do online and that not EVERYONE is doing? Name as many things off as you can! Thanks

  Instead of medical transcription, you can do general transcription. General transcription is working with audio in any field that is not medical or legal. You will work with a variety of people - students, authors, businesses. There is no training needed because you don't have to know the terminology or formatting that is used by medical or legal transcriptionists. The problem with medical transcription is that it is very unlikely to get work from home until you've worked in house for at least two years. But you can start working as a general transcriptionist very soon. Other things you can do online includes telephone sales with companies such as Liveops, West Telecommunications and VIP Desk. All of these are considered contractor positions. You are your own boss, so there is some minimal money for set up involved.
