Is it hard to find a permanent job when you are temping?
-
I quit my last job (was there for seve years) because I was written up and I quit to go to a temp job. I put on my resume that I left because of personal reasons as I can't think of any other reason to put. The last temp job didn't work out as two people came back from their LOA's. I was there for five weeks. I think if I had stayed at my previous job I would have stood a chance at not getting fired and at a permanent job. I was about to get fired, FYI. Now, I wonder if I've been laid off of the temp job, is it going to be hard to get another temp job or a permanent one, for that matter? What reason should I use as to why I left my previous company? Thanks.

Answer:
Ask if there are any temp to perm jobs with the agency that you worked for. Sometimes that is a good way to get your foot in the door. Good luck.
