My boss is going to fire me because someone in mine made a mistake ..!! what should I do ?

    xcarry a tape recorder when you talk to the boss, record statements that its not your fault and you are just being required to " fall on your sword" then sue the company and the manager for unfair dismissal and collect a big paycheque.

Take responsibility as his manager, but point out what you did to rectify the situation (did you fire the team member? did you address it the first time it happened?). Explain that you understand the impact of the damage and what steps you'll take to ensure it doesn't happen again - extra training and coaching with the rest of the team members, etc. Do your best to leave emotion (and punching) out of the discussion. But if you do get fired, take it like a pro and learn what you can from it. It's amazing how small each industry is and you don't want to burn bridges. Good luck!

You are probably being used as an escape goat. I am sorry to read you are having this problem...but it happens in the corporate world. If what you explained is true, I would talk to your supervisor and ask him why you are being terminated. Then if you get no satisfaction appeal your case to his supervisor. What do you have to lose?
