How long until they call u back after a best buy interview?

Job interview question and could be job interview?

  • ok first) i applied at best buy and they gave me the interview( my first 1 on 1 job interview) i thought it went well but they never called me back and they said they'd call me by monday and its monday and near 8 o clock and they haven't called what should i do??? should i call or just move on?? secondly) i applied at costco and was wondeirng if they want me to come in for an interview what should i wear, what questions will they ask and what should i tell them for for strenghts and weaknesses, and when they say what is your previous work history what should i tell them since this will be my very first job??? does volunteer work count??

    yes volunteer work does count! But don't mention that you were volunteering unless they specifically ask you how much you were making. As far as attire goes, it could be tricky, you can't show up in a tuxedo or a chanel suit, on the other hand you can't show up in sweat pants and a t shirt either. i suggest you put on khakis and a nice top, maybe even a sweater.

Volunteer work does count as experience, so let any interviewer know what you have done. Since this is your first " paid position " stress the commitments you've given to your volunteer work and to your schooling. Don't give up on Best Buy, if they call for an interview, yes you should go, but don't ignore Costco. It never hurts to have more than one or two or even three options. It would be o.k. to call Best Buy to let them know you're still interested. If you have knowledge about any product or function or products of the business you're interviewing with them know that too. Always sell your strengths. Tell them you're a hard worker, your punctual and your committed to getting the job completed. As far as clothing, always attend an interview looking professional no jeans, cut offs or tee shirts. Places like Best Buy and Costco have uniforms, so if you're hired, you won't have to worry about what to wear.
