I want to work in a medical career? which is highest paying.

Should I choose a steady, high paying career, or a career I really enjoy?

• I am 15 and i've been thinking a lot about my future lately. Pretty soon I'll have to decide my major, and I don't know what I should choose. On one hand I could major in something I enjoy like history, and end up with some career in archeology or maybe as a teacher (Indiana Jones maybe?). However neither of these are really high paying jobs, and would require a lot of work to get anywhere I want to be. On the other hand I could choose a job that pays well, like a job in pharmaceuticals. As a pharmacist, the starting salary is quite high, and they seem to always be needed. And with a high paying job like that, I would have money to do all the things I want (i.e. travel across the globe). So should I choose a job I don't necessarily enjoy, but that lets me do the thing I want, or a job I enjoy, that would take years of savings to do these things? Or maybe someone knows of a job that pays well, and involves lots of travel and history, because that would solve everything.
