How to answer interview question on long-term commitment volunteering?
-
hello, i'm interviewing for a volunteer position (set schedule--one day a week). at the same time, i have a full-time job search ongoing. what should i say when asked about committing long-term to volunteering, but also be available if a permanent full-time job becomes a possibility? i really want this volunteer position as i have a passion for the work and would like to build experience and take advantage of the opportunity to network. thanks!!!

Answer:
Take the volunteer position. When a full time job comes up, then you will be already an asset to them and they will probably work around your schedule. Hope this helps.
