How to decline a job that I already accepted?
-
This is for work placement for my program I'm taking in college. I had the security office call me back to work the unpaid three weeks and I accepted right away thinking I wouldn't secure a placement in time. Now I just rececived a call back from a company that is 5 mins away from my house and that I originally wanted. Can I just write them an letter and send by email? Does this seem bad that I'm doing this, I feel awful.

Answer:
Why don't you just call them up and apologize for wasting their time.

Just be honest and tell them the truth, or at least say something came up. You shouldn't pass a better opportunity because you feel awful.
