Looking for summer job but will be away for a month?

I'm looking for a summer job but will be away for a month (mid-June to mid-July). What's the best way to approach the issue when I apply for jobs (this weekend)? My past experience of job hunting was not good. Even this year: I'm probably starting too late and worried I will sink all my time in the summer into job hunting without any results.

Answer:
You're probably going to have little luck being as summer is only 3 months and you'll be gone 1/3 of that. They're not going to want to put the time and money into training someone who won't be there. Especially when there are others just as qualified. Think about shortening your trip. Doing other work like child care or small manual labor jobs for people.
