So if you could help me fix it up and maybe help me along that would be great. my cover letter : address 27th My 2011. To Whom It May Concern, I would like to apply for the Customer Service position currently advertised on the …….. website. Along with my cover letter I have enclosed my CV. My previous work history shows I have had extensive experience in customer service and sales; this is because I enjoy helping people and just generally developing a friendly rapport with customers. Others find me to be a very happy/bubbly and hardworking person. I enjoy working as a team and am a fast thinker when it comes to problem solving and using my initiative. Some useful skills and qualities I have picked up while previously working in customer service have been: * Answering phones /phone manner *Assisting customers *I am a good listener. I firmly believe that I would make a great addition to your existing team. Thank you for your time and consideration. Yours sincerely, name.

Answer:
This is good. I left school with no qualifications and now 4 years later am in a very steady well-paid job and I got the job by just remembering key things. All you need to remember when trying to impress employer's is that they are looking for somebody who will be an asset to their company. If you convince them that you will in any way be an asset, you're hired. I enjoy working as a team and have a competitive attitude but one that aids me in learning and progressing as an individual would be a better start. Write a list of skills you have and then try integrate them into the CV and cover letter. Explain short but very sweet why you want the job and what you can bring. My first ever job I didn't know what skills I had so I just told them what they want to hear and as long as you have your head screwed on you can pull it off no problem. They are looking for - Time keeping - Organisation - Communication - Friendliness - Attention to detail - MOTIVATED (KEY) ENTHUSIASTIC, ETC The best way to do this is write a list of skills and write a list beside it giving times when you've had to apply all those skills. Its always good to put something like 'I look forward to being considered for this position and look forward to hearing from you' at the end of a cover letter.

that's sound really good anyway, maybe you could put why you want that job, and add something abt your future aspirations. other than that it might just be that the job market right now is tough ad you're not actually doing anything wrong
