Does working as a Starbucks count as sales experience?

  • I want to apply for a certain job, but it requires at least two years of "sales experience." Well, turns out I worked as a Starbucks barista for three years. Does this count as sales experience?

What counts as sales experiences can depends heavily on the person who will review your job application and what type of experience they want you to have. If the jobs involves counter sales , than I say you experience will count, whereas if the jobs involves more listening/presentation skills or more external sales than I say it would count very little.
