Career in International social work.

I would like advise and any information about a career in social work? I would like to persue this as a career?

I would like to know what is a daily routine of a social worker, is it a good job or do you regret choosing this career? I do not know much about how to get to become a socal worker or the salary, so any information would help. How did you become a social worker? How are your days?
Answer:

College degree in social work or psychology This is a must to get to be able to counsel people. There are so many graduates in this, that without a college degree you won't have a chance Not high paying. Considered by yahoo finance one of the lowest paying 4 year college degrees out there. Only next to degrees like Spanish, history, art, photography, etc
