What does a personal assistant do?

If you could have a PERSONAL ASSISTANT what would you have them do?

  • If you had the money to pay a person to be your personal assistant what kinds of things would you give them to do to make your life easier or to save you time? Please keep in mind that this is a SERIOUS QUESTION (so no stupid answers from 15 year old boys please - go and play with your Nintendo instead!). But seriously, keeping in mind that a personal assistant is NOT A MAID, what type of tasks would you happily have someone else organize or take care of for you? Thank you.

I could use a personal assistance to help answer emails and sort through spam and important emails. I would also have them organize and take care of paying my bills and keeping my accounts in order. I really dislike talking on the phone so answering calls and returning calls would be a definite job.
