Starbucks interview thursday?

How can I get an interview for Starbucks?

• I applied to a few Starbucks that are hiring and the hiring managers are there today. Should I call them and tell them I applied a few weeks ago? What should I say on the phone to get an interview? One person at Starbucks told me to come in and talk to the manager personally but my mom has my car today. Should I mention my availability is open? that I would love an interview? I have been trying to get an interview for 3 years now.

  I do this for any job that I really want. What I usually do is I call them and say, "Hi, my name is ----. I put an application in a few weeks ago, and I was just calling to follow up." That's usually when they say something like, "Okay let me grab your application (comes back to phone) Okay I'd like to schedule an interview with you for......" Or they'll say something like, "Unfortunately we're not looking for anyone right now" Either way, save the availability thing for the actual interview. It is better to show up in person, but if your mom has your car for the day then it will be easier to call. DO NOT wait until after 5pm because that's usually when managers leave.
