What can I do for work experience in Leeds?

• I live in England, and am 14 going on 15. I want to know... -do you have to get work experience through school, or can you organise it yourself? -do you reckon I'm too young to get a job at my local medical centre? If so, is there anywhere that I could get a work experience job thingy involving medicine (I live near Leeds)? If not, what work experience job thingies closest to medicine could I get, and where could I get it? -could volunteering at dog's trust count as work experience???? -If all else fails, where could I get work experience (any, but the closer to biology the better) ?

  When I was in school you were allowed to organize it yourself as often the ones school got you weren't that great. I am not sure about anything medical, my brother in law was allowed to shadow a doctor once he was in 6th form but took alot of calls and stuff to get in but there is no harm in you asking especially if that's the field you wish to go into. I would also say dogs trust would count as work experience as long as you were there a certain amount of hours. Good luck!
