What would you need to major in for this job?

I need MAJOR job help! ASAP?

  • -I just applied for a job at a clothing store and they called me today and told me that they want to interview me this thursday. -I REALLY need this job because I need some money of my own and I really would love to work in retail. -The problem is I just found out that I am going to camp this summer for 8 weeks... -I really love this camp and my mom has tried hard to let me go for 8 weeks -I'm scared that they won't hire me if I tell them that I'm leaving for 8 weeks in the summer. I don't know what to do, I really need this job, even if it is just for now until summer, but if I tell them that I'm leaving in the summer they might not hire me I want to be completely honest and here are some things I thought about saying: -I am leaving for the summer in late June so I won't be able to work until I get back -I understand this might be difficult but it would mean so much to me to have this job until I leave and I will work really hard until then -If my job is still open once I get back I will most definitely take it again -If you need me to find a friend that could maybe take my job for the summer I will try my best Please add anything or whatever I need as many suggestions as possible! Thanks in advance!

    You did a good job analyzing the situation. I think you're right...if you leave for 8 weeks in the summer, nobody will want to hire you. So, your decision is one if either going to camp or working. You can't do both.

You're pretty much on target. You need to be upfront with them about it BEFORE you are hired...although you might be surprised. They might agree to fill your position with someone over the summer, since a lot of young people work only during the summer.

If you tell the truth you wont get the job and if you lie it will be a great sin. Now you decide which one you want to do. Job or want to make a sin for a job.
