  I just wanted to second the other answerer who said to get out there and "hoof it." Get some resumes printed up on your printer or a local Kinkos. Google "how to make a resume" or something like that to help you make a great one. Your resume will be very sparse, unless you've got a lot of volunteer work under your belt, but that's fine. Put on some nice "business casual" attire (look somewhat professional, like the kind of person a respectable company would want to hire), take you resumes and go door-to-door to local businesses. I've done this lots of times, myself, and it's a great way to find a job. You could also just call the businesses up and ask the following questions: 1) How old do you have to be to work there. (if the answer is 15, continue) 2) Are you hiring? If they are hiring, drop in (dressed as previously described), and ask for an application. If you're lucky, the person in charge of hiring might be there. Meeting him/her gives you a better chance of getting hired. You've got to put yourself out there and look for a job. It's not going to come to you. If you're too lazy to go find a job, you'll be too lazy to keep one. Sounds like you live in or around Chicago, so I expect you'll have lots of jobs to choose from. Ignore every idiot on here that's suggesting some online work bullcrap. Even the ones that aren't scams take way too long to make anything worth your while, and you should be out in the "real working world" anyway. Good luck!
