Have you tried applying for a job in a daycare? I would apply to every day care you can think of. Even try daycare buses. They often need someone to put the children in the car seats, see that they get off the bus safely. Daycares usually run all year long with a week of two off here and there. Try putting up flyers in laundry mats, grocery stores and so on. Some parents don't like taking the kids to do the laundry or grocery shopping (especially with summer coming), so maybe you could do an hour here and there. Are you trained in infant and child CPR? If not, see about getting that training.
