What career should I choose?

What career should i choose?

  • Hi! My life is just like most other teenagers who don't know what to do with their life. I was pushed into medical field by my parents but know I think its not right for me. because I am not very social. I don't know what I would like to do. I don't have any aim. But I know that in this world if you have money you can get everything. So, can anybody help me to know what career will most likely suit me and what subjects should I choose to study now? I don't have a career counsler so don't advise me that.

  • Answer:

Here is what I do: 1) Close your eyes and think--If you did not ever have to work again, and had all the money you needed, what would you do to feel your free time? After the first year of being retired, how would you spend your days? That is what you are meant to do in life. 2) Now think. How can you make money off of that? Who would be willing to pay you for making that product/service for them? 3) Now. Learn to make that product/service better than anyone else, and figure out the best way to get it to those who will pay you. Hope that helps.

haaraayy for dipossesed teens who dont know what to do with their life as a fellow in the same situation im happy to provide suggestions :) its too hilarious, my mum wanted me to be a doctor and from your instance i wonder if everyones parent are like that? You should really focus on your likes and dislikes, your hobbies your passions! what do you want to pursue - hopefully its not something incredibly difficult to relate to an already exsisting occupations - if its something youll love pursue it! no matter the income, your finacial position or age its always good to have a dream! Dont worry about subject selection too much, im in grade ten and our teachers gave us that same preach that if we concluded our career decisision to late and didnt make the right subject choices we wont be able to pursue our dream careers - give us a break were only bloody highschoolers, your highschool subjects will most likely not affect if any chosen career unless they require certificates where as through the school they can be quite handy. choose the subjects you enjoy - chances are youll enjoy a career related to those. I hope you think of a couple of careers which you can pour your life into be happy :)

Hello. Medical field sounds interesting, but, as you said you're not very social, so I guess I can whip up a few things. I'm not sure of your hobbies, so, I've listed a few jobs you'd might like to pursue that could get you a lot of money and doesn't force you to have to work in a crowded environment. 1) You could be an artist. I don't know if you enjoy drawing, but being an artist ensures that you can be in the quiet of your home and also allows you to become rich if you sell your pieces. 2) You could be an author. Also creative; you can stay at home, and if your book is published you could become wealthy is people enjoy it (such as J.K. Rowling who wrote the Harry Potter series -she's a billionaire). 3) A software architect. You could create amazing pro-grammes, such as Bill Gates who created Microsoft Office (he is a billionaire). 4) A nature photographer. 5) A professional researcher. 6) An inventor? These are just a few suggestions, though I'm sure there are many more. Hope this helps.
