Go to craigslist & hit the search on the left (after you go to your city/region version of craigslist first)... Then put in your keyword "carpenter" and hit search, you should find a number of jobs...if no jobs appear, do the same search for 'gigs' If you want instant notification when new jobs are posted without having to check back each day....you can try out this little tool: http://www.adnotifier.com/index.php or http://cljobhunt.com/ Hope this helps.

The one I like the best is indeed.com - it's free, and it finds jobs from lots of other sites, and can automatically send you email daily or weekly with matching jobs.
