Is being a neonatologist a good job?

Good way to insure I will get a good paying job when I turn 18.?

  • Next year over the summer I will be 17 and I'm going to get a job then, I don't want to get a job now just to interfere with school. I want a good paying job so I can get the stuff I want. My parents are either to poor or don't get the right things when ever I ask for something. My mom is so cheap she can't get me a nice pare of pants for $15, because she would rather shop at good will and get my the crappy pair that look ugly for $1.99. I want a job so I can buy my own stuff, but I don't want a cheap job that will pay small either. I want a good paying job. To be honest I don't think I'm going to go to college with my grades, not to mention the money it costs to go to college. I'll be saving for 20-30 years before I go to college. How can I insure that I get a good paying job when I turn 17. I'm 16 now. I've been told collage can cost up to 50 thousand dollars plus the cost of books and other stuff which can cost up to a few extra thousand, well that's what my school said when they had someone from the city collage come over to our school. I don't want a crappy job like flipping burgers, I want a good job I'm going to like. I've thought about getting a job at Apple or Sony, or even a game shop when I turn 17, since I like electronics and video games then why not. I just don't want to get minimum wage paying job is all.

Its good that you want more out of life. But in order to get the things you really want out of life you should seriously consider going to college. First of all , you can get into a college even with crappy grades. There are always going to be community colleges , and public universities that have to accept you nomatter what. Paying for college is not that big of a deal either. It seems like since your parents are not exactly rich you would be an excellent candidate for Financial Aid through the Department of Education. You would get federal grants, state grants, and federal loans to pay for college. Ensuring that you get a good paying job when you turn 18 is one of the hardest things you can do in today's economy. I know people who have Masters Degrees who cannot find work. Your best bet since you are young is to go to college, work some part time jobs , or even get a job on campus that will pay you with Work-Study and you will be able to save up, get a good job when you are older, and you will improve the situation you are in now. It will be really hard for you to get out of the situation you are currently in without a good education, or some really good luck in starting your own business one day! Veejay Deosaran

It's all about experience. You may have to start out in the dumps flipping burgers but after a while with more experience you can build up to a higher paying job. I would recommend if you know what high paying job you want to do, try and build experience, thats what employers look for the most!

Start playing the lottery, if you start early, your chances are better! Plus you'll be all the rave with your friends once you win!
