Summer jobs for teens in florida?

Teens 16-18, what are some enjoyable summer jobs you've worked?

• Any that are generally easy for teens to do would be great if you could share your experience and places you like. Also, if anyone has specifically worked at Toys R Us, could you tell me how you liked it? Summer jobs only please, the summer season will create a different environment than say, the holidays, and I want to be sure I have an accurate idea.

  I've never had a "summer job." I've been working full-time since I was 14. But I know that retail is an easy enough place to start! I can also tell you, from experience, to avoid waitressing, I've never enjoyed a waitressing gig. The specific Toys R Us you're being employed by will be entirely different from one anyone else has been employed at, as it's a franchise. Ask someone who works at your local Toys R Us for a better overview. Edit after additional info: Well, you'd need to have an interest in the area of retail you're going for. I enjoy fashion and music, so I tried clothes stores and music stores and loved working there. I never stayed for long though. Do you like children? Would you be able to give genuine advice to customers in Toys R Us? It might be worth looking into things like being a receptionist if you don't want to do retail, but when you're young you don't have too many options!
