What is it like working for CSX as a track worker?

• So, I have been working at my new job for about three months, I work hard, don't complain, and the boss seems to like me. All in all a really cool job! But, I work with another lady, whom is very educated on our product. An a very dedicated worker. But every time I come in, she has found another job for me somewhere else. It really throws me threw a loop. I just graduated College, work this job part time, an another full time. I have no time for sculpting, which is what i went to school for. Oh and I'm 20, with a degree and my own place.(I feel the need to add, that I pay my own way on everything. An haven't talked to my parents in a year) So I feel like i'm "on track" you can say. But without fail, every time I come in, She asks if I applied here or here. Then gives me a whole list of places I should apply at. I have gotten so upset about it, that I calmly asked our boss if they still needed me. An that I wouldn't be upset at all, If they told me not to come in anymore. But he assured me that they still needed me. so. WTF????? Should I fight fire with fire and start finding her other jobs? Or should I keep the peace. Why is she doing this to me? I have always been kind and respectful of her. Even when she's given me the third degree an asking me questions like how i pay my bills? what do you say to that? with cash? WTF. It none of your business. An she comes out of nowhere an asks them. My boss said she is just trying to be "motherly". But I think she just doesn't want me there. What can I do, but still remain polite?
