Can i take multilevel marketing as my profession?

I am not sure what kind of degree I should choose for university, Im not sure what career path I should take,?

  • Hey, well its my final year of High School. And I have to choose a University Course, But i havent a clue what I would like to study or be. I want to do something that I can get a good Job at the end of it. In school, My favourite Subjects are Geography, French and Art. I used to study business and I enjoyed it, but I haven't studied it for 3 years now. I would like to get into something that I could eventually maybe run my own business, or work in a nice position in a multinational. I want to earn good money. I also want to do something i enjoy, and feel excited to work when I am finished. I am very confused at what I should choose as far as university courses go. I have left my options open to about everything, I have an art and photography portfolio also ready as these are things I enjoy. I worked in school as my school photographer for a year, it was pretty sweet, and I found enjoyable and rewarding. I would really not like to spend all my time in an office. When I was younger, I really dreamed of owning a hotel and running it, and helping people enjoy themselves and things like this, but obviously, Im 18, II cant afford to buy a hotel, and my parents arent in that business. It still kinda is a dream of mine. So maybe a Tourism and Hotel Management course, but then I dunno if this is a good degree, and i dunno if i would earn good money. I always thought of architecture, I have always been drawing houses, and I definitely have great drafting skills, but i dont think i will get enough Points to matriculate into an architecture school, plus im not sure if i would be good at it, or if i would enjoy the course. I also liked the idea of Industrial Design, because i would love to become the car designer, but i think its hard to get into the profession. I am not even sure if industrial design is a good degree. I love france and its Culture, and also business, so maybe french with business, or marketing with french, and or law with french., I honeslty dunno. But, i am not sure if law would be suited to me, I am not brilliant at english and my analytical skills are dire. I do like art, but i find with a lot of art degrees, that theres isnt many job openings, that could earn a nice lifestyle, unless ofcourse you are picaso, im not sure if i am on the same level as he. I really am so confused, because there is so much choice out there. I want a degree, that I will enjoy, but also something that will give me good job opportunities, with a very good salary, I really would love some suggestions on a career path i should take, and what kinda degree I should take.

I am a recent college graduate, and I find it depressingly hard to land a job in today's job market. I went into college as confused as you are, not knowing what career path to follow. It still stresses me out whenever I think of what to do in terms of career in the long run. I went into college as an undecided/undeclared major and leaned towards psychology, but figured I wouldn't be doing much in that field of work or making much money unless I earn a doctorate degree. I took some basic classes in sociology and criminology and found criminology to be quite interesting. Now I am graduated with a BA in Criminology, Law & Society.. sadly, I am still without an occupation. I would like to maybe offer a few helpful tips regarding your noted interests. From what I see, most (if not all) of my colleagues who have majored in business/economics have found a job from the get-go after graduation. I think business is a very broad field and you have more options of going whichever way upon finishing college. Perhaps you can also major/minor in management to help you in the direction of possibly starting and owning your own business in the future. You can always take on more minors in subjects you enjoy such as art and geography, or just take those as elective classes on the side in case you decide to incorporate them into your business plan. I believe architectural designers make an average salary of ~78K. Whatever you choose to do, I think you will be able to achieve whatever you put your mind to and work at it hard, like a BOSSS. One thing I'd like to say is even after college is over, there are so many graduates who completely change their field of study when putting themselves through grad school. College is a time to learn what you like and dislike, which courses of study you most enjoy and despise, and where you explore the endless possibilities of your future endeavors. But if you figure out what exactly it is you want to study and become, I say stick it out and go straight in that direction because once you have graduated, you will already know your next steps and can immediately apply for further education and degree or your possible future career. I hope this helps!

Engineering and Sciences are currently in strong demand in the U.S., even during the recession. Architecture can be very enjoyable and pay well, but it is currently in bad shape because construction has dramatically slowed down. It should improve, but I would only pick this if you really love it, and aren't planning to graduate for a few years. Some professional areas will be around regardless of the economy, like becoming an Attorney or working in the healthcare industry. Whatever you choose, you need to do something you like!
