Answer:
They'll ask you questions about your experience and ability to do the job so have a prepared answer to highlight your strengths and why you're the best person for the position. Also do your research, be able to add in why you're interested in working for their company, is it that they're a large corporation so you're interested because it'll offer you job stability, or is it because they have a really good employee retention rate, or because there's great growth potential. Whatever the reason be able to offer this sort of information, it shows you've taken the time to learn something about their company culture. Also, be prepared to answer questions about your time management and organizational skills. You may be asked what you'd respond to first if you have a phone call, a visitor at the front desk and perhaps a manager who needs you to work on an important project with them. I'd answer that I'd advise the manager that I just need to help a caller and get the proper person for the visitor at the front desk and then I'd be right with them to work on the project. You may be asked how you deal with deadlines or multiple phone lines. You may be asked "what are your strengths or weaknesses?" I'd say focus on the strength and if organization is a strong suit give an example of where you put this into play at a former employer. When addressing your weakness don't forget to turn the weakness into something you've overcome. Maybe accepting criticism from your peers or manager was difficult but you could turn it around by saying that you've learned that you can learn from the criticism and you use it as a way to improve in an area that was once considered a weakness to make it a strength. Practice your answers so that you're relaxed and comfortable when responding. Finally, have at least 3 or more, no more than 5, questions prepared to ask the interviewer. One or more questions should be about the position itself, perhaps What are the responsibilities of this position How would you describe an average day on this job How would you describe your ideal candidate Regarding the company What is the department's environment like What makes a successful employee in the company, what qualities Follow - up interview When will a decision be made on the position What is the next step in the decision making process Best of luck and hope this helps!

just inform yourself on what you need to know about the company.
You need to think about the type of work tasks you will be doing in the job as a law firm receptionist. Greet people, answer phones, take paperwork, be the gatekeeper of the office. Think of when you have been in a situation in previous work experience or situations and have used the necessary skills. Juggling multiple tasks, dealing with several calls on the phone, remembering client's names and be able to talk honestly and clearly in the interview. If you have ever been an officer of a club or organization or leader in volunteer work, use your experience as examples. Have good eye contact, dress very professionaly in a business suit with a neat clean look, smilel and just be yourself. Good luck.

Pretend you are the law office and looking for help. What would you ask potential candidates? Try to come up with a list and have a friend ask you the questions and you practice giving the answers. As far as how to answer, you need to be honest. You can "spin" things, but if you lie, the interview will be over before you know it. When I look for employees, I search for attitude and work ethic. I can teach the basics of the job, but you have to come to the table with a good personality, common sense, and a desire to learn and work.

Usually no questions are asked , interviewers only make you talk to find out how you express yourself in a given situation.
