Can I use a letter of recommendation from a retired Assistant Principal?
-
I am an elementary school teacher and I am putting together my hiring packet in hopes of finding a job this coming school year. I know it's going to be tough because our district is cutting jobs, but I certainly won't get hired if I don't try! I have a great letter of recommendation from a school I worked at in 2007, but the writer of the letter has retired. Can I still use that letter, even though she is not able to be contacted any longer?

Answer:
I would use it. I would also try to get updated info on her.
