Is a Paralegal career a good path to Law school?

What career path should i take?

• I'm not to sure which career i want to pursue at this point in my life. I have until the end of this year to decide what i want to do. I'm an all around person, but the three career paths i am really loooking into is LAW, JOURNALISM, & MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT. I chose LAW because i always liked the setting, and defending peoples' rights. I like to argue and i'm persistent. However, i'm not too fond of reading case studies upon case studies day after day. I know, i do have time to change while i'm at law school, but i dont know. I think my personality is a bit too free and friendly to be confined to prosecuting. It needs to be able to explore. And i do have all the qualifications to get into law school at UWI. I choose JOURNALISM because, i love to write. I'll write a good story, and i'll write it well. I'm the PRO of my College Journalism Club and i find getting the news to be very interesting. Journalists get to cover so many different things its interesting. But i wonder if that's what i want to do. How many writers get jobs these days.? Very Few. And the rest resort to teaching or some other job which underemploys. And lastly, there's MARKETING & MANAGEMENT. Its a new career path because it opens up opportunities, and its something different. I'm very innovative and i think it'll keep me interested. Because there's a saying. For you to perform well, you have o like what you do. But i'm still not sure... Can anyone assist me. Words of advice, caution. etc.

  Do what interests you, don't wory about the money. If you are the best in the field you choose, hirers will form a long line behind you. From your description I would say you choose Journalism coz you like it a lot of all the 3 professions. And hey, you can fight for the right of people being a journalist and at the same time get a chance at marketing your name in this field very fast...
