Macy's interview tomorrow HELP?

I have an Interview for BT/manpower tomorrow can someone help me with these interview questions please (UK)?

  • Okay I know this sounds really lazy but I've not got any answers for these questions or none that I can think of and I've been out of a job for 5 months now and really need this job! Someone I know works there and told me they wil ask these questions. Even if they are made up answers I don't mind I just need help! :-( Mt work experience is the cooperative for 2yrs, and a call centre for 1 month. It's a competency based interview so I need specific instances/customers etc.. That's why I'm finding it difficult and the interview is tomorrow so I'm panicking! Here goes.. they ask about a time when you've had to work under pressure; how you coped and what you did to resolve the issue. they ask about a situation where you have had to use your initiative; they ask about a time when youve had targets to work to; how you felt when you've not met them and what you did to help you reach them; they ask about a time when you've gone beyond the normal expected from you to ensure customer satisfaction; what the issue was and what you did to ensure the customer was happy And anything else you think they may ask would be great, thanks! xx

  • Answer:

As you have only been in the work force for a comparative short,i.e.2 years, you will not have come up against much of this stuff, No 1....as you were working for the co-op,you would have had a supervisor so you would pass on any problems to them... No 2...you had a customer ask you about a specific item,(think of one) you said you would find out, you suggested she had a coffee, whilst you found out about it,you did so and went and found her and told her your result. No 3..working to a target is not hard, each of you in the team, just put the extra effort in,and it comes out fine in the end.No 4,other than No2 you have not come across this problem Just be your self, smile look at the panel, and the person asking the question,if you do not know, say so,....good luck.
