Question about resume?

I Have A Resume Question?

• I’m currently a junior in college and just updating my resume to get it ready for when I start applying for internships this summer. I plan on studying abroad in Europe during the fall 2009 and was wondering if I should incorporate the university I’m going to study at overseas into my education section and just list the classes I’m going to take while there. I didn’t know if this would look bad since I’m not going overseas until after the internship this summer. Should I put it on my resume or should I wait until I actually come back from my study abroad to start putting it on my resume? Should I also put it in my cover letter?

  As per my opinion, you shouldn't put into your resume. To be honest, employer has no such time to judge whether you are honest or not, if you didn't do it, just don't put it in. They normally spend only 2-3 minutes on a person's resume. Think about it, if you are the employer, will you look at what the person WILL do or what they DID? Cover letter is to suit the job you are going to apply, so after u completed the course, if it is related, then you may include it into your cover letter. Remember, cover letter is like an executive summary of your report which provide a quick briefing to the employer what is your qualification and things that tells why the employer should employ you.
