What to do about my life career?

Trying to Decide what to do as a "career" to help with bills and well life.?

• Im in a relationship and we are planning for the future. Unlucky as it is neither of us really are career driven but have hopes of an enjoyable life. My boyfriend is most likely going to be able to get a good job making from 30,000-50,000 and i want to also be able to help out with bills. I have a love a cooking-but not as a career it just makes things harder because we will spend a good amount of money on healthy food which i think is a huge joke that to be healthy you have to spend more money. My only real ambition and goal is to be a mother and wife, Im a type 1 diabetic (the kind that has nothing to do with what you eat or your age), i feel the need to say that because whenever i say im diabetic people don't realize the difference between 1 and 2 . 1 your born that way, 2 your either 50+ and your body cant handle well your body anymore or you ate to many Twinkies. Anyway I want to be a mom really bad and Im hoping that if i take really good care of myself i will be able to get pregnant without too many problems when the time comes. However I do not want to spend all day at a job while some other person gets to raise my child, help them learn to count and walk. I want to be there for all those moments. However at the same time i want to contribute financially, I've thought of different ways to do so but can't think of what the right choice is. In those "career test" i always come out as a creative person, which is true. I would love to just draw and create and take photos that people love - and get paid for it! but Im not sure if that means i would be freelancing, or have to start my own business to sell what i create or what exactly it means to sell handmade good. While owning and operating your own business has many benefits such as flexibility, you can bring your child with you if you choose, and im sure you could make a good living but a the same time you need money to start and most people spend a lot of time creating a business and id probably spend more money then id make hiring accountants to help me understand the legal and tax information. Right now there are a lot of scams for people looking for work from home jobs which is really unhelpful to woman who want to be able to mother their children . Im all for woman's rights but back when they were fighting for the right to work i wish it could have stay the RIGHT to work not the NEED to work...and in today's world its a NEED for both parents to work because everything cost TOO much! I would be willing to do the dull jobs that people don't want like endless hours of data entry or other paper/computer work or pretty much ANY job that i could Seriously do from home and get paid. Even if i had to go into an office sometimes...actually 5 years after i have a child they would begin school and i would be able to work from 9-3 and would love to be able to do something...I just refuse to be like most people, especially my parents who are miserable because all they do is work and they never get to enjoy their day. I think the idea of working 9-5 in an office or anywhere doing the SAME thing day after day is so dull. Why would anyone want to have that life--yes i know most HAVE to just to get by, and thats why im looking for another route. Any suggestions?

  I would suggest learning some new skills, such as to do with IT, computers & internet that means you could work remotely. Many companies offer the ability for employees to work from home too. Another way to look at it is to see if you can use any of your hobbies / interests to earn money. An amateur photographer for example could start to make and sell prints... Or, if you are very knowledgable about something, you could start a business in that - selling from ebay,, or starting a website... All the best... biggest bit of advice - avoid those scams!
