How do I write a job application letter for an unskilled job?
-
I'm going to college next year, and I desperatley need money. I'm on my summer holidays. I've never had a job before, just a couple of weeks work experience in a restaurant two years ago. My CV is ok, despite lack of work experience I have a fair few achievments mentioned and my exam results are good. I want to ideally try to get a job as a shopassistant in town. I am not replying to an advertisment and I don't know the names of the managers of the places I will be sending out letters to. I am also wary of sounding almost sarcastically enthusiastic in my job application. What do I write? Thanks

Answer:
You don't........there's no such thing as a 'job application letter'. Just go to some shops and ask for an application. Fill it out, return it and hope for the best.
