What does New Age music mean?

At what age is it too late to pursue a music career?

• I don't necessarily mean "rock star," and I could not care less about fame or money (though of course that would be great... those things are secondary). I'm just overwhelmed by how fast time passes by and I feel so old (I'm 31 now) and lately I've been feeling a bit down. I'm an EFL teacher... I absolutely love teaching adults, but I am so scared because I feel that I've missed my true calling. I struggled for years to figure out what to do with my life, and I longed to know but couldn't force myself to have an epiphany. I tried various things, but now I've had a series of experiences that have revealed the answer to me... and I'm scared I've missed my calling. Music is the only thing that truly makes my heart happy. I always loved music with my whole heart and I have played the guitar for 20 years, but I realize now that I should have pursued music as a career. People have suggested that I do it as a hobby but I have to something for a living... but nothing else fills my heart and I'm not good at anything else. I feel a bit sick at heart at the thought that it may be too late for me to ever be fulfilled or happy. I don't care about being rich, or famous. It would be great to be rich and famous but those things aren't relevant. I just want to pursue a career that fills my heart. I have studied music in the past but my degrees are in Science and Spanish and I wonder if going back to school at my age is auspicious. I can take an honest answer (not a mean one)... is it too late to do anything professionally with music? What careers in music (if any) are still open to someone my age?   What I suggest is to record some videos and upload them to Youtube. I, myself, am a musician at 16 and getting hits on the internet.
