When i apply for a job, should i call back and ask them when they'll call me?

I would wait a week or so to call them back because sometimes they don't even look at resumes and applications by then. Also it's good to follow up because it shows you are quite interested in the position. You could also go in person to talk to the manager but you run the risk of the hiring manager not being there or not having the time to talk to you. It's better and more polite to call, as it will give the manager the chance to organize their information instead of talking to you unexpectedly. At my job, we won't even see people in person unless they have an appointment. Good luck!
