What careers are available for someone with a Masters in Nursing?

I'm torn between two careers : Physician Assistant or Nursing?

  • I'm a senior. When I go to college, I know that whatever I do, I want to work in Healthcare. The medical field is where its at for me. Nursing is the big boom career. Nurses will ALWAYS HAVE JOBS. There will even be over a 500,000 shortage come 2028! WOW! no matter what, I ALWAYS WANT TO HAVE A JOB. especially when you dont know when the economy is going to go down like it did before. Physician Assistant, im not so sure. Will they always have jobs? If they will like nurses then I want to be a PA! Can anyone give me some insight? Preferably someone who knows what their talking about.

I have been a PA for 12 years now and I want to ensure you that the last thing you would have to worry about is a job. The PA profession is consistently listed on the bureau of labor and statistics top 10 fasting growing/in demand list.
