What career can you do by making videos?

What type of career is this?

• I want to make videos. I want to put creative and emotional videos together creating a piece where the audience deeply feels emotions. I want to use music, clips, anything. Film directors are hired for movies and t.v. shows to chose the camera angle, maybe the set as well. So it isn't a directing job I am looking for. I Don't think it is Film Editing either, because that is editing an already made film. I would maybe want to make short videos or clips, maybe for advertisement companies or I am not sure what. But anyone know the name of a career for making videos? ( I don't mean either filming stuff myself necessarily)

  Thats a film/video director. It doesn't matter if the piece has been previously filmed, a director oversees all the input into the finished work. Most people have to produce/direct/edit their films themselves when getting started, because it is only then that some will pay you to do the same. You need to know all the aspects of film production before taking on the role for someone else.
