How to get a good job without a degree?

I live in the uk and do not have a university degree. I would love to have to have a rewarding career that pays well. Can anybody tell me the names of any companies that take on people without degrees and train them up? Please no silly answers. Thanks in advance.

How about getting the training to work in a bank? They make a decent amount of money.

You could always try sales. It generally doesn't require a degree and you can make good money doing it.
