Which masters degree would be best when seeking a future career as a narcotics or homicide detective in LE?

I have a question about a career in law enforcement(right answer gets 10 points).?

• I am 15 and I want to join the military and if I get out I was wondering about my career, So here it is I want to be a homicide detective if I get out of the military. Here are my questions to see if this career has stability. 1.)Will there always be crime? 2.)Will we always have homicide detectives? 3.)What will this career be like in the future(50-100 years from now)? 4.)What do you have to do to become a homicide detective?

  1) Yes 2) Yes 3) You will be retired or dead in 50 to 100 years. On the short term it will look much as it does now with added technology. 4) First you will need to be come a cop. Spending the years between High School and the time you are 21 either in college or in the military is a real good start. Detectives especially homicide detectives are the top of the class. You will need at least some college and probably a degree. You can get this right after high school or while you are working as a patrolman if you go the military route. Many departments require various amounts of college just to get hired as a patrolman.
