The main points to remember when writing a resume or CV: 1) Well-organized. This probably means NOT following a format to the letter, but rather customizing a format that best showcases YOUR unique experiences. 2) Quick-to-read. No extraneous information or long lists of duties attached to each bullet point. Only explain (briefly!) anything that really NEEDS explaining. 3) Focused on your main skills and experiences. If there's anything else you think you should mention or explain, you do that in your cover letter. Generally, though, you won't be expected to address the question of of a 6-month employment gap right away. It's not uncommon. You could just wait until the interview and then explain that you had a health issue that is now recovered and say that you're excited to get back to work now. Good luck!
