Could i become a lawyer?? UK?

im getting A/Bs in science , Bs in maths and a c currently in english (although im re taking) . A levels im taking Physics , biology , maths, English lit . Does uni matter? which one i apply to ? is it easy to find a job as a lawyer. thinking about kingston uni? want to live in london . thnank you!

if you're wanting to be a lawyer, personally, i don't advise going down the university route, i suggest taking an ILEX level 6 professional high diploma in law and practice. the only reason being, despite your high grades, you would need a 2:1 degree in law and then need to go onto law school before you could even consider applying for a job, and even then, there would be no practical/work experience side to it so it is possible that you might not even get a job at the end of it, the ILEX (institute of legal executives) is directly linked to the legal career and includes practical elements including legal research work, (which means that if you did get a job as a solicitor/lawyer, they wouldn't really need to show you how to research as you'd already know). you say you want to live in london also, well there are many places around london that run the ILEX course, http://www.ilex.org.uk/study/ilex_study_centres.aspx using this website you should be able to find somewhere suitable (oh, and the ILEX is a lot cheaper than going down the university/law school route) :-)
