Do you think a 17 year old has a chance at being a administrative assistant?

• Hi, I just turned seventeen yesterday and I'm currently looking for a job. I literally applied almost everywhere in my surrounding area and I still haven't got emailed back. Only twice. One was being rejected and another was for a interview that ended up me being rejected again. Anyways I have no job experience and I wanted to start applying to administrative assistant jobs. I'm only a junior but I'm extremely good with computers and very good with people and communication. What are the odds of me getting hired to be an administrative assistant and where are the best Places to look and apply online in CA? Thank you!

  You're still a minor and you are not bound by any contracts or agreements. What that means is that you can't be bound by a company's confidentiality policies and things like that, so there would be nothing to stop you from divulging confidential and private information (i.e., fear of prosecution). Because of that, it's going to be difficult for you (a 17 year old - not you particularly) to get an administrative job where you may be required to work with such information. You might have better luck looking for a receptionist type job. Just look in whatever industry you're interested in and you might have an opportunity to move up to Administrative Assistant when you turn 18.
