i know that minimum wage went up in ontario to $10.25. What about the rest of us who are making 9.3 an hour? do we get an extra $1.55 or do we stay at 9.30 and let the newbie's get away with with the extra money?

Answer:
Minimum wage applies to all that are already employed as well as new employees. You should have gotten a raise to the new minimum wage when the rate went up - which was on March 31, 2010 (over a year ago!). If however you're a student or serving alcohol their minimum wages were also increased as of Mar 31, but they have lower rates (9.60 and 8.90, respectively). If you aren't a student or serving alcohol, you are owed money going back to March 31, 2010 for the hours they've paid you incorrectly for.
