Help with the phone interview?

• I was recently let go from my job. I was technically a temp so when the agency called me I wasnt given details as to the reason. I have a phone interview for unemployment benefits this week.They sent a letter notifying me that they would be calling to determine the reason I was fired and if I was given any warning. I did have a talk with my boss about over a month prior about being late, but it was a casual conversation and I didn't feel I was in danger of being fired. I know a few other people who were let go at my job and didn't have to go through a phone interview so I'm very nervous. Does anyone know if I'll be able to qualify? Or have any tips for the actual interview.

  I don't see how you can qualify for unemployment benefits if you were working as a temp.
