How can I find my employment history on SSS?

How can an employer find out past employment history?

  • My husbands filled out an application and in the employment history area, there's one job that we're not 100% sure of the start date. He let the company know about this at the interview and they said that he better try to get it more accurate because when they run their background check, it may look like he was trying to hide something. well, we called the IRS, then the Labor dept, then the social security office, and finally our local unemployment office. No one seems to be able to help us. We also called the company he had worked for and they said they only keep their records for 3 years and the year in question is 2006. we're trying to figure out if it was july or august he started that job and nothing! how can a possible employer be able to find out past employment history so quickly but nobody else can?! i wouldn't even mind paying for a background check myself but don't know a reputable company.. anyone out there have any answers or ideas? Thanks!

  • Answer:

if the former employer does not know than do not worry about it, obviously they would no be able to verify his dates of employment, there is no agency in the US that collects that information, although there are people on the fringe that believe otherwise, get as close as you can and do not worry about it

Here you are: Usually administrative bodies take a lot longer to run background checks than a company that has an agreement with a third party specialized in running those checks. It is a paradox, but it is the reality! This would explain how the employer got the info quicker than anyone else! If you want to see what others read in your background checks, or in this case, your husband's check, i can suggest you use http://inteligator.govrecords.co.cc/ they are the notorious affiliate of Complete Investigation Services, Company that's number one in this field! Or you can use http://cisrecords.govrecords.co.cc/ I prefer Inteligator but it is up to you. Good luck!
