Since you go through temp service to get hired for Honda how do you get permanent job after 2yrs in temp?
-
My husband just got offered a job at Honda.I no they hire through temp service and can't guarantee that after 2yrs you get a job and it scares him to take leap to leave present job for a possible better opportunity if they can't guarantee permanent employment after the 2yrs.

Answer:
If Honda hired him directly, they wouldn't guarantee him a job after 2 years. Usually if a company plans on putting a temp on their payroll, they do so long before 2 years. Most temp services have a 13 week temp to perm type contract. Some companies have permanent temp positions. The temp agency administers all the payroll and benefits. This saves the company money on benefits and makes it easier to terminate or change employees. That is probably the case with Honda.
